“50 years” edition (special no. 199-A) in Mint condition, complete with cap and BoxIn 1975, for the 50th anniversary of the Leica E. Leitz, Wetzlar produced not only the Leica M5, CL und SL2, but also a limited edition of 1,750 M4-cameras with special engravings. Each of these special editions was engraved with a laurel wreath and „LEICA 50 Jahre“ and a 3-digit number ending with a letter of the name “LEICA”. Of the 1,750 cameras finished in black chrome, 1,400 were made in Wetzlar and the remaining 350 in Canada. 100% MINT like NEW condition! Rare '50 years' edition issued to commemorate the 50 years jubilee of the first Leica from 1925, in absolutely mint condition
